Protective Barong

Barong dance is commonly performed in Calon Arang performances. In this performance, Barong is a symbol of goodness and has several troops. His troops will attack Ratna Mangali in the form of Rangda. However, because they lost against Rangda, the barong troops will stab a dagger into themselves until they droop on the stage. Then, the barong comes out to resurrect his troops.
